Job Description

STS Aerospace is looking for a Quality Specialist that will support the quality organization in preventing escapes (customer returns) and will be required to work with all levels of the organization to be the champion or support with the tasks listed below under duties and responsibilities. The quality specialist will support driving a quality culture throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance (but not limited to)

Perform gauge and tool calibration.
Independently perform Hardness testing on production assemblies.

  • Quality Clinic Support (but not limited to)

Independently perform borescope inspection and visual weld inspection on assembly product (final and in-process)
First Article Inspection
FAI development and/or review
Engagement with customer SQAR to resolve FAI concern or aid in approval process.
Maintaining of customer requirements- such as KPC
Assists with customer audits and external audits.
Bench Audits
Support Customer requests regarding Engineering & Quality: eSRI and eQN- Supports in customer returned parts root cause and corrective actions.
Supports the quality clinic with: Containments, Investigations, Quality blasts and Rework job plan creation.

  • Assist with Receiving Inspection (but not limited to)

Qualifications

1-3 Years of experience in similar roles.
Computer knowledge and general comfort with the use of technology.
Capability to analyze data and creative in how the data is presented to inform others and drive change.
