STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for an Application/ Customer Engineer II to join the team. This position is responsible for the interpretation of complex customer requirements, develops, plans, and implements design solutions via engineering analysis, product capability, manufacturing knowledge, and engineering processes across all product lines. Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaboratively work with internal teams in pursuit of new business opportunities. Knowledgeable in product application and configuration, design solutions, manufacturing processes, tooling, and cost estimates across all product lines.
- Independently accesses complex customer requirements and executes complicated technical tasks associated with the engineering release process including but not limited to, requirements management, product configuration, test protocol, technical documentation, engineering drawings, change management / implementation and contract review deliverables across all product lines.
- Leads activities with internal and external customer agents to address and resolve part configuration, change management, and change implementation throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Knowledgeable in tasks associated with FAA Technical Standard Orders (TSO) and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA)
- Reviews and checks engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for technical content, errors, notes, accuracy, functionality, and completion.
- Initiates and executes continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
- May represent the company on industry committees and accompanying duties.
- Must be coachable, goal orientated, self-starter, and excel independently or in a collaborative environment.
- Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on time.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
