Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Specialist to join our finance team in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment. This junior-level role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in cash management and cash application processes. The candidate will be responsible for applying cash transactions accurately through ERP systems, and collaborating effectively with global stakeholders.We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Specialist to join our finance team in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment. The candidate will be responsible for applying cash transactions accurately through ERP systems, and collaborating effectively with global stakeholders.

  • Perform cash application activities, including posting incoming payments and resolving discrepancies in ERP systems.
  • Investigate and resolve payment issues such as short payments, unapplied cash, and deductions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to solve issues with cash applications and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records in the ERP system.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to cash management and cash application.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures within an SSC environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with bank portals (Mexico and international): knowledge in transfers, tax payments and social security is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, mainly payment applications.
  • Experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders across different regions and time zones.

  • Junior-level skillset with solid foundational knowledge in AR and cash processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced or upper-intermediate English level (written and verbal) required.
