Job Description

Duties:

A Workday HCM Business Analyst acts as the bridge between HR business stakeholders and technical/configuration teams, ensuring Workday solutions effectively support people, process, and data requirements.

  • Will be responsible for defining a Product Vision that enables the People strategy through the delivery of Workday product roadmap. 
  • The role is multi-dimensional including supplier management, product development, enhancement, evangelism, and advocacy.
  • It requires a blend of experience in identifying and maximising the business value of people solutions alongside deep understanding of Workday and HR processes.
  • They will be accountable for the delivery of strategic objectives whilst driving the embedding and continuous improvement of the new system

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and Workday HCM functionality.
  • Excellent requirement-gathering and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall delivery models.
  • Knowledge of Workday security setup.
  • Transitioning a greenfield Workday implementation to BAU.
  • Customer Journey and Value-Stream Mapping
  • Creating a Product Vision, Roadmap and Backlog Management.
  • Hands on configuration of multiple HR Workday modules – particularly HCM, Performance management, Basic Comp and Benefits.
  • A mindset of continual improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as an HCM Business Analyst, with strong hands-on experience in Workday.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM Core and related modules (Preffered)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex HR requirements into clear functional solutions.
  • Exposure to Workday Reporting & Dashboards.
  • Experience supporting global HR organizations and multi-country rollouts.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
