Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Transfer Pricing professional for a 6-month contract role, who enjoys working at the intersection of data, finance and tax. This role will play a key part in managing intercompany pricing mechanisms, supporting audit readiness, and driving consistency with global TP policies while collaborating across finance, tax and business teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review product line master data relevant for transfer pricing.
  • Calculate and execute intercompany service charges (global functions, shared R&D, field services, etc.), including mark-ups, validations, and invoicing as per TP policy.
  • Administer periodic TP adjustments/true-ups (TPAP), ensuring accurate data inputs, calculations, and communication of outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support annual budget, forecast, and strategic planning cycles by modelling service charges and TP adjustments; contribute to key tax/finance assessments (e.g., DTA, impairment).
  • Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of intercompany charges and TP adjustments in financial systems
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to TP entries and reconciliations
  • Review financial reporting of TP adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure audit readiness, maintain robust documentation and support internal/external audits, tax reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and data quality across TP activities.
  • Support ad-hoc modelling and assist in updating TP policies and intercompany charging frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with a bachelor’s degree; having 3+ years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, finance, or similar roles.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with experience in profitability and income statement analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/reporting tools (SAP, Oracle EPM, etc.); exposure to TP tools (e.g., Aibidia, Longview, ARKK) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing concepts, or a strong interest in developing expertise in TP and taxation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS); familiarity with data handling (CSV files) is beneficial.
  • Experience in a multinational environment, preferably manufacturing/engineering; exposure to audits and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Clear communicator with a high standard of accuracy, integrity, and accountability.
