Job Description

Duties:
• Execute daily master data creation, changes, and extensions in accordance with defined SOPs, SLAs, and governance standards.
• Perform detailed master data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all assigned data objects.
• Identify data discrepancies, duplicates, missing attributes, and inconsistencies, and take corrective actions or escalate as required.
• Support data cleansing, remediation, and standardization initiatives to improve overall data quality.
• Ensure all supporting documents, approvals, and business justifications meet compliance and governance requirements prior to processing.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, validation evidence, approval records, and operational trackers.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate data, validation evidence, and process clarifications.
• Maintain and update reports and trackers related to data quality, KPIs, SLA adherence, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with MDM team members and business stakeholders to resolve data-related queries and issues within agreed timelines.
• Support system upgrades, data migrations, mass uploads, and transformation initiatives by assisting with data preparation, validation, and post-load checks.
• Handle sensitive and confidential business data in accordance with information security, data privacy, and company policies.

 

Qualifications

•  4+ years of experience in Master Data Management, with a strong focus on Customer Master Data.
• A self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels with strong collaboration abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local language is an added advantage.
• Ability and motivation to consistently achieve operational targets and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a global mindset and cultural awareness.
• Proven experience working in matrix organizations and virtual, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to make effective and timely operational decisions by analysing data and business requirements.
• Understanding of the organization’s commercial environment and awareness of how master data impacts financial and operational processes.
• Willingness and ability to support change, continuous improvement, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment.
