Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a teams of Engineers and/or Supervisors for Dry Gas Seal Support System Pre/Post Order Engineering.
- GSS Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure proper hand over between pre order and post order
- Accountable for overall Engineering KPI ‘s and focus on OTD and Quality metrices.
- Training & developing of empowered engineering team for GSS engineering & to perform vent studies.
- Working directly with all internal stakeholders and align with them on Engineering Service Level to meet their expectation.
- AspenTech Tools development and support
- I- Project – job management tool for Gas seal system engineering as a global tool, Support for migration from I Project to any alternative Engineering project / job management software as directed by Engineering Solutions management.
- Job Planning in DOSE & MS project, Distribution of the work among the team member and drive quality output well within the promise date
- Provide promise date to stakeholders based accurate estimation of man hours, resource planning and priority of the project.
- Accountable for on time submission of. Engineering deliverables, technical clarifications, Comments and Deviations, value added engineering solutions, technical clarification during customer approval cycle, working with supply chain team for identifying new vendors and technical alignment of critical components during execution stage. Assist advance procurement, communications to Operation / Contract Manager / Project Manager and manufacturing site leaders.
- Distil best practices for achieving growth and help replicate best practices on a worldwide basis.
- Drive teams KPI and achieve of self and team members.
- Able to establish work life balance without impacting objectives
- Learn the product and plan self workload & activities.
- Support and/or lead automation/standardization projects
- Support site audit if necessary
Key Accountabilities:
- Additional duties and responsibilities will vary based upon company needs.

- Complete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirement.
- Drive compliance to ISO & SES guidelines. 100% Compliance to processes & procedures laid down by organization e.g. iprojects, DOSE, TC, SAP, etc. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement important initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- A Bachler or master’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Chemical) with 10 + years’ experience in engineering, or similar functions. At least 2 + years of Supervisor / team leader experience
- Hands on Experience in Instrument datasheets, wiring and ASME pressure vessel Code is preferred.
- Working knowledge of process Simulators like Hysys/Unisim.
- Domain knowledge in process engineering & seal systems in Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Fertilizer, Refinery and Turbomachinery areas.
- Working knowledge of mechanical seal business andhow markets work, and how to create growth through engineering processes & products.
- Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.
Desirable Experience
- Good Knowledge of API 614 & 692 (preferred)
- Instrumentation and electrical knowledge
- Hands on Experience in Aspen Hysys process simulator
- Knowledge of Dry gas seal panel & Its component and instrumentation.
- Specification Review
- P&ID Preparation
- Bill of Material Preparation
- Technical Alignment
- Review of 3D & 2D GADs and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO:9001
