Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the full bid and proposal development lifecycle for opportunities across global markets.
• Assist in compiling and producing high-quality proposal documents, ensuring proper formatting, version control, and timely submission.
• Work collaboratively with bid managers, sales leads, solution architects, and subject matter experts to gather and structure technical and commercial content.
• Ensure clear and accurate solution mapping to customer tender requirements, with an emphasis on digital networking components.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, editing, and proofreading across all bid materials.
• Implement and manage document control processes and maintain proposal version history.
• Apply best practices and tools to improve proposal efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Support continuous improvements in the bid process, including tools, templates, governance, and reusable content libraries.
• Contribute to bid planning, scheduling, and document workflows using agreed bid management platforms.
• Stay informed on digital innovations, particularly in networking, cybersecurity, digital integration, and related fields within Aviation and Ports & Borders security screening industries.
• Assist in scoping and structuring proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives, profitability, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• 3-5 years of experience in a proposal writing, bid support, or technical writing role preferred (fresh graduates with strong writing and digital aptitude).
Technical Skills:
• Strong foundational knowledge of cyber security, digital networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, network infrastructure, connectivity, and digital transformation.
• Exposure to or interest in security screening technologies for aviation or border management is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with proposal automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Handling third party vendors, partners and aligning them with our deals, as and when required.
- Experience in handling multiple bids concurrently
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented, collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Understanding of pricing models will be an added advantage
- Experience of using a document management system – SharePoint
Strength in MS PPT, MS Word and Adobe FrameMaker would be an additional edge
