Job Description
Job Purpose:
Manually moves component materials, supplies, and finished products between inventory and production, and between inventory, receiving and shipping. Pulls orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies and enters receipt of incoming shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Count, label and verify quantities of incoming materials.
- Receiving
- Pull Sales Order items
- Pull and package component required on a pick list
- Take parts to the production floor, check for any special requirement on a WO
- Do transaction in the ERP system
- Check schedule periodically throughout the day
- Work on return to stock product
- Work on getting stock put up in to correct location
- Performs actual inventory counts
- Inform Manager of any significant problems
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Compliance and participation in all Smiths Interconnect HSE&S programs, policies, procedures and training requirements
Planning and Decision Making:
- Maintain work schedules that will meet customer requirements.
- Adapt to daily changes in production and meet shipping schedules.
- Flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination.
Impact and Scope:
- . Communication with Supervisor with issues that will impact inventory, production or shipping.
- SIKC Location as well as other Smiths Interconnect stakeholders

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have basic clerical skills, technical ability
- Ability to examine issues or problems& make decisions
- Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

- Adequate manual dexterity to handle extremely small parts.
