Job Description

•Responsible for assembly, static & dynamic testing, and refurbishment of mechanical seals.

•Assemble mechanical seals, including parts like springs, elastomers, metal components and faces, into completed units.

•Inspect incoming materials for defects, and test assembled seals for functionality, including checking for leaks, performance, and durability.

•Prepare and clean all components for assembly & repair, ensuring that they meet the required specifications.

•Perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished seals, ensuring they meet quality and industry standards.

•Identify and resolve any issues with mechanical seals during the assembly or testing process.

•Maintain records of all work related checklist.

•Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain assembly tools.

•Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Methodologies that focus on improving efficiency & continuous improvement

•Achieve assembly plans on daily basis.

•Minimize rejection & rework during assembly process.

•On time deliveries to meet customer expectations.

•Maintain good quality of work during assembly.

•Maintain good house keeping at work area.

•Safety awareness.

Qualifications

•Experience – 03 to 05 years

•Technical Skills –  ITI or Diploma in Mech Engg.

•Proficient in reading technical drawings & specification of seals.

•Experience with hand tools, precision measuring instruments  and testing equipment

•People Skills – Good Communication, Problem solving approach, Attention to details, Flexibility, Safety awareness.
