Job Description

Key Activities:

  • Analyzing inquiries, make correct product selection inline with customer needs & global standard.
  • Studying Customer RFQ and project specifications, prepare comments - deviation sheet, product datasheet and costing sheet for filter and/or entire filtration systems. etc
  • Manage KPI in terms of On time delivery (OTD) and Quality of the outputs.
  • Ensure compliance with proposal process and outputs from proposal team.
  • Co-ordinate with various global cross functional teams (CZ Plant/CoE/JVEL) for getting results.
  • Participate in technical as well as commercial discussions with sales offices or customers.
  • Keep focus on opportunities of improvements through SES tool to improve KPIs
  • Follow regular inquiry review meetings, Daily accountability (DAM) meetings.
  • Ensure efficient support to sales offices and Business Development force.
  • Working on nonstandard / Standard – First Fit & spares inquiries with complex requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure meet the business expectations in terms of On time delivery (OTD) Cost and quality outputs.
  • Support Sales / BDMs / Junior engineers about engineering process & products.
  • Make sure error free quotation preparation, Clean & Clear order handover to execution team.
  • Responsible timely support for SAP quotes, correct price estimation for technical requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures (Smiths values and Leadership behaviors').
  • To use Engineering tools and perform correct nonstandard standard product selection calculation.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and prepare Corrective Actions using SES problem solving tools.

Responsible:

  • Build and maintain good rapport with sales and internal customers to meet their business requirements.
  • Should actively contribute to Continuous Improvements in their day-to-day work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering min.
  • 7+ years’ experience
  • Technical proposal / application  engineering.
  • Pressure Vessels, Thermodynamics
  • Time management
  • Self-discipline
  • Work in International environment
