Job Description

The Data Analyst will efficiently extract, process, and analyze financial data from SAP to develop automated reporting solutions for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Enhance data accessibility for financial teams by designing insightful reports and dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.

 

Essential functions Skilled at designing and maintaining databases and data systems, ensure informational accuracy and integrity, generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders and help leadership with strategic planning based on the insights gleaned from their work

Job duties to include but are not limited to

  • Build and maintain financial reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Create data visualizations (graphs, dashboards, infographics) to simplify complex data.
  • Structure and process large datasets to uncover trends and insights.
  • Support financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, process, and analyze financial data from SAP and other sources.
  • Develop automated reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
  • Identify trends and insights to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to optimize data processes.
  • Present findings through reports, visualizations, and presentations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or similar field required; MS Applied data Science Preferred.

Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a data analyst, providing reporting and insights to support business strategy and decision-making. 

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Data Analysis & Extraction: SQL, SAP, data processing
  • Programming & Automation: R, Python, Java, or Scala
  • Reporting & Visualization: Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Alteryx
  • Data Management: Data warehousing, ETL processes
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and consistency

 

Background: This position may require Sensitive Security Information (SSI) access and vetting via the TSA. If required, applicant must successfully pass a federal background investigation. This position may require a U.S. Personal Security Clearance.

The compensation for this position ranges from $60,548.00 - $141,276.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
