Job Description
Entry Level - starts at $16.50/hr. plus a $1.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.
2nd Shift hours: Monday through Thursday 3:15 pm to 1:45 am
STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Marker to join the team. This position is responsible for the accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using various marking methods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements
- Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies as required
- Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer
- Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces
- Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly
- Apply aluminum tags into place
- Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes
- Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place
- Regularly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 25lbs
- Regularly and dependably to work on time
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
