STS Aerospace a tubing manufacturer located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Deburr Operator to join our team.
This position is responsible for following shop routers, work instructions and company procedures to deburr machined components by utilizing a dremmel, knives, drill bit, reamers, files and any other tools to bring the part to conformity. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and utilize hand tools to grind, buff and polish parts
- Inspect parts for quality and defects
- Remove burrs and rough edges from parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
