Job Description
This role is the technical lead on global Reliability Engineering for Maintenance Service projects, setting the technical standard. The role consults with customers on their maintenance system and related reliability/compliance challenges, proposing approaches to address them and together with our team delivering the solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consulting with customers on their maintenance system and related reliability/compliance challenges
- Developing process and approaches to address the customers challenge, including documenting method of work statements.
- Providing recommendations to address the customers challenges
- Drive change within the customer organization
- Develop Maintenance Philosophies & Strategies
- Develop Asset Registers, hierarchies and classifications from P&IDs, PFDs, single line drawings and other data sources.
- Prepare for and conduct Preliminary Criticality Analysis studies.
- Prepare for and conduct maintenance strategy analysis (Failure Modes and Effects analysis, RCM, criticality, etc.) using proprietary software.
- Development of Planned Maintenance Routines for multi-discipline
- Construction of planned maintenance program.
- Lead workload smoothing and man-power projections.
- Consulting with Peers and Colleagues when expertise outwith domain expertise is required or a 2nd opinion is required
- Collaborate to provide spares recommendations
- Perform Project Manager role as required
- Delivering projects
- Senior technical input
- Technical lead on our Reliability Engineering for Maintenance projects – setting technical standard
- Ensure proper support is provided to facilitate the adoption of the project deliverables by the end user
- Work within the requirements of the Integrated Management System.
- Provide recommendations for the development of our tools and serviceline, to meet our customer needs and grow our serviceline
- Ensure the strict adherence to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental management systems across the business.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Recognised engineering qualification or extensive practical maintenance experience.
- Experience of maintenance management practices and systems in the energy sector.
- Demonstrated experience developing asset registers, maintenance strategies and planned maintenance routines.
- Actively involved in the management, use or implementation of Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS, AIMS, ERP or EAM solutions).
- Report writing and effective communication.
