Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orbital Welder to join our team in Laconia, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-precision orbital welding on various tubing systems and components in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

  • Operate orbital welding equipment to join tubes, and fittings according to specifications
  • Set up and calibrate orbital welding machines for different materials and joint configurations
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures
  • Perform visual inspections and quality control checks on completed welds
  • Maintain accurate records of welding parameters and completed work
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve welding processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in orbital welding, preferred
  • Proficiency in operating orbital welding equipment and interpreting welding procedures
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with quality control and inspection procedures for welded joints
  • Familiarity with various materials, including stainless steel and titanium
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training in welding preferred
  • Understanding of metallurgy and material properties
  • Knowledge of welding processes and parameters
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime
