Stockroom Clerk - 6 Month Temporary Assignment

Company Description
The stockroom clerk is responsible for receiving, unloading, marking, and stocking products in stores, warehouses, or stockrooms. Assist with managing and organizing products as they are delivered. Verify shipping invoices with the inventory that has been delivered to and from the facility. Administrative and transactional support to ensure accurate and timely release of stockroom parts/inventory. Frequent interactions with Internal: manufacturing floor, shipping/receiving personnel.
Job Description
- Check order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries
- Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.
- Unloading, marking, and stocking products/inventory in the proper stockroom location
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Complies with and ensures department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies
- Keeping track of stock levels, cycle counting, and taking regular inventory
- Keeping stockroom organized, and pick parts as needed
- Complies with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations

Qualifications
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to process and analyze business information
- Ability to stand and/or be seated for up to 5 hours at a time
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 lbs. May be required to lift 20lbs with assistance
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others can understand you
Experience:
- Warehouse experience a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), equivalent from a vocational school or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training preferred.
Security: U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
