Job Description
- Support, contribute and promote a safe work environment.
- Develops technology and processes to ensure designs are technologically competitive.
- Technical lead for the development of interconnect solutions.
- Provide electrical engineering design direction and solutions to the product development team
- Create electrical FEA models for RF transmission line and shielding design projects.
- Apply principles of electrical engineering as they pertain to connectors, contact technology and cable design.
- Present experimental results and technical reports at group design review meetings as necessary.
- Interpret customer specifications and translate them into design and/or manufacturing requirements.
- Perform complex processing experiments, and/or lead the projects studies.
- Coordinate the construction of functional and non-functional prototypes with internal and external vendors.
- Provide technical support to organizational stakeholders (Production, Quality, Marketing and Sales).
- Consult with Sales and Marketing in quoting customer requirements and bid preparation.
- Provide electrical engineering technical support and input to the entire organization.
- Participate and contribute to team training, development, mentoring and audits.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of transmission line theory and RF design
- Experience in computer based finite or boundary element electrical modeling (Ansoft HFSS preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical 3 D modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
- PCB and flex design 4 Travel %: 0-10% Security: Please State if US Citizen or permanent Resident Required
