Job Description

  • Prepare client’s artwork for decoration on various promotional items such as cups, pens, caps, t-shirts, etc. 
  • Proof client’s artwork internally and work directly with client to resolve any questions and concerns. 
  • Must follow all customer brand standards for each project.
  • Work within all technical limitations of all decorating methods.
  • Work directly with suppliers to resolve any imprinting questions and concerns.
  • Prepare product virtuals to support the sales process.
  • Prepare marketing materials for SmithDryden.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Possess a working knowledge of decoration methods and technical limitations, spot color vs. four color process, color gamuts, Pantone Matching System, etc.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work effectively under strict deadlines while managing concurrent projects.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator on a PC. Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.   
  • Working knowledge of the principles of design, layout, typography, and colors. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).  
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Correct spelling and grammar is a must.
  • Must be ambitious, self-motivated, and highly professional.
  • On-site work only. 

Additional Information

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited College or University preferred.
  • 3.0 or higher GPA. Consideration may be given to a slightly lower GPA with strong work experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work occurs in a moderately quiet office environment.

HOURS / SCHEDULE

Full-time, M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm
