We have an exciting new opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work in our school based health center located in Baldwin NY.  As the Nurse Practitioner, you would be working alongside a supportive team and have an opportunity to work with patients in a dynamic practice environment.  This position would be Monday through Friday with work hours from 7:30 am- 3:30 pm.  Please see job highlights below for more info.

Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Baldwin NY

Compensation: $115,000 to $125,000 + full comprehensive benefits package and loan repayment

Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner:

Providing healthcare services to students including assessments, diagnosing illness, and developing care plans

Prescribing medication when appropriate

Managing chronic conditions like asthma, daiabetes, and allergies

Speaking with family members

Consulting with other providers on site

Providing health education

Documenting notes in EMR system

Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:

Graduated of accredited Nurse Practitioner Program

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State

At least 3 years Nurse Practitioner experience

Experience with pediatric/children

Strong communication skills
