Job Description

Position Scope

This is a key position within finance and will work closely with sales and supply chain.  In finance, this position will support the accounting team by recording the day-to-day financial transactions as they relate to Company purchases, sales, receipts and payments.  This position will also support the operations of the business by processing incoming orders, providing delivery estimates and updates to customers, sales team and supply chain.
*Position is on site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process sales orders and confirm orders with customers
  • Understand and forecast allocation priorities
  • Coordinate fulfillment with the warehouse and/or third party manufacturer
  • Provide delivery status updates to the customer and sales team on a regular basis
  • Generate invoices for shipments and send to customers
  • Manage returns processing and raising credit memos
  • Manage accounts receivable invoicing and collection
  • Record receive payments and make bank deposits
  • Receive, code and enter vendor invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Support with month-end close and reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for forecasting purposes (as needed)
  • Inventory item list management and cleanup
  • Quickbooks cleanup, improvement and enhancement in processes
  • Compile and prepare monthly reports for actuals vs forecast

· Support all areas of finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting

· Support in the integration of CRM to accounting software and develop way of working

· In the future, we will be implementing a tool for reoccurring revenue to be compliant with ASC606 revenue recognition.  This role will support in the implementation of this new process and ways of working, including contract management.

 

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  • Minimum of three years previous accounting experience, CPA nice to have.
  • Must have experience with QuickBooks accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • Energetic self-starter with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, work with others in a dynamic environment.
