Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking an IT Manager who can both operate and progressively upgrade the organization and management of our internal IT systems. This is not a role just to “keep the lights on”; it is an opportunity to:

  • Standardize system operations and controls.

  • Establish clear structures of ownership.

  • Build an IT foundation that operates stably and consistently as the company grows and evolves.

  • Work directly with the Board of Directors (BOD/COO level) and collaborate closely with Delivery, HR, and Finance to ensure IT effectively supports business activities.

KEY FOCUS AREAS (FIRST 6–12 MONTHS)

1. Stabilize and Enhance IT Operations

  • Minimize recurring incidents.

  • Improve the quality of internal support.

  • Ensure smooth system performance for all teams.

2. Upgrade Infrastructure and Security

  • Improve system performance and stability.

  • Standardize according to frameworks such as ISO27001 and SOC2.

  • Strengthen access control and risk management.

3. Standardize Structure and Ownership

  • Define clear roles and responsibilities (ownership) for each area.

  • Develop processes, policies, and coordination methods between IT and other departments.

  • Ensure the system can operate stably and consistently, without depending on any specific individual.

4. Support Internal AI Implementation

  • Ensure infrastructure readiness for AI tools (Copilot, automation tools, internal workflows, etc.).

  • Balance innovation with risk control.

  • Act as an “enabler” for teams to apply AI effectively.

5. IT Team Development

  • Guide the team to work more systematically.

  • Foster a proactive mindset with clear accountability.

  • Enhance the operational capacity of the staff.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • IT Infrastructure: Servers, network, cloud.

  • Internal Systems: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, etc.

  • IT Operations & Helpdesk.

  • Information Security & Compliance.

  • IT Processes, Policies, and Governance.

Qualifications

 

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory: 

  • Experience in management or end-to-end IT operational responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure, operations, and security.
  • Ability to bring structure into a growing or changing environment.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Preferred: 

  • Experience with ISO27001 or SOC2.
  • Experience with Cloud, DevOps, or Containers (Docker, etc.).
  • Background in Systems or Networking.
  • Note: Expert AI knowledge is not required, but you must be ready to learn and adapt to new tools.
