Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior HRBP to lead our Talent Management and Retention strategy. This is a key strategic role where you will work closely with the Board of Management (BOM) and Board of Directors (BOD) of Verysell AI, helping to shape a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
You will take ownership of initiatives that drive employee development, engagement, and long-term retention - all aligned with our fast-growing, AI-driven business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Development & Career Growth
- Design and execute a cohesive Talent Development strategy aligned with business and individual goals.
- Conduct skills gap analysis and development needs assessments across teams.
- Develop structured career paths and growth frameworks to boost internal mobility.
- Deliver or source effective learning experiences (e.g., workshops, OJT, coaching, mentoring).
- Partner with line managers and leadership to embed development into performance management cycles.
- Monitor learning ROI and talent progression metrics.
2. Talent Retention & Employee Engagement
- Own and execute strategies that promote long-term employee commitment and reduce attrition.
- Analyze feedback from surveys, stay/exit interviews to design targeted retention programs.
- Lead initiatives that improve workplace well-being, inclusion, and belonging.
- Manage competitive benefits programs, recognition schemes, and engagement events.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, conflict resolution, and team health.
- Promote internal mobility and career satisfaction through meaningful employee experiences.
3. HR Operations & Cross-functional Support
- Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding and accurate HR record management.
- Coordinate with Finance/Admin for payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
- Communicate HR policies and updates in a clear, employee-friendly manner.
- Continuously improve HR operational efficiency and employee service delivery.
- Support recruitment activities if needed (especially for internal mobility or leadership pipelines).
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in HR (preferably HRBP, L&OD, or Talent Management roles).
- Proven ability to design and implement development and retention programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in working with senior leadership.
- Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly, and build processes from the ground up.
- Organized, data-driven, and capable of balancing strategic and operational tasks.
- Bonus: Experience in tech/AI or international working environments
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
