Job Description

Smaato is looking for a Marketing Manager in Beijing, China. This role will report into the Senior Director of Marketing. This person will be responsible for marketing our product to customers in the Asia Pacific market. Supporting Smaato’s APAC marketing strategy this person is responsible for ensuring consistent marketing messaging, facilitating case studies and managing a local PR firm.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the execution of Smaato’s strategy in China, mapping out the most effective communication for sales enablement and brand awareness
  • Edit and localize content to Mandarin for business and sales presentations, product releases and emails
  • Work with cross-functional teams to produce compelling content that meets the needs of the APAC audience
  • Communicate with local market staff, global team, clients, vendors and document communication regularly
  • Assist in the preparation, organization and execution of events including sourcing and packing merchandise
  • Measure the effectiveness of our content and optimize our efforts
  • Assist with day-to-day assignments, projects and other administrative tasks

  • 日常工作需要与本地同事、全球团队、客户及供应商进行口头和书面的交流
  • 协助准备、组织、执行市场活动,包括采购和包装宣传品
  • 衡量内容营销的效果并进行持续优化
  • 完成市场部门分配的日常任务、项目及其他行政类工作

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in social media marketing, PR management, and email marketing  preferably in the marketing and advertising industry
  • At least 1 year in a managerial role
  • Proactive, self-starter and independent working style
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment 
  • Proficiency in Excel, PPT, Adobe CC preferred
  • Full business proficiency in English and Mandarin both orally and in writing 
  • Some travel required
