We are looking for an independent individual that has the necessary skills and experience to join our Marketing Team. The Marketing & PR Manager (China) will play an important role in raising and maintaining Smaato’s corporate & brand reputation by delivering Marketing & PR strategy in China. You will design brand messaging and campaigns for key stakeholders and consumer audiences across a range of traditional, digital and social media platforms to solidify our position as a “thought leader” in our industry.

Good Marketing Managers have strong, pro-active management orientation to grow Smaato’s China presence. Have excellent organizational and high degree of core marketing skills in the deployment and curation Smaato’s Marketing & PR strategy. In additional, able to frequent and responsive communication across multiple time zones with flexibility. And a willingness to change and evolve mindset is essential. Strong people- & project- management skills, problem-solving skills will all be highly valuable. 

The Marketing & PR Manager (China) will report to the APAC Marketing Lead. This position is primarily based in Shanghai and will be working closely with the General Manager (China). This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in joining a young and dynamic team in a start-up environment with an immense growth potential of mobile marketing.

  • Develop and implement China driven marketing calendar
  • Manage & execute China-based events, in close coordination of Smaato’s Global Events Lead
  • Develop & execute China-specific content marketing, not limiting to blog posts, byline articles, newsletters and print collaterals
  • Collect and generate China-specific supply and demand case studies
  • Collaborate with appointed PR agency on daily insights and tactical management
  • Drive China-specific lead generation and lead management
  • Deliver marketing initiatives to drive new sign up of publishers and acquisition of demand partners
  • Manage and execute China-specific email marketing including corporate, supply and demand campaigns
  • Manage WeChat, Baidu Baike and other social platforms for China
  • Develop & Implement China-specific marketing analytics
  • Develop excellent relations with internal stakeholders and external working partners

  • Diploma/ Bachelor in Marketing or Business
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in Photoshop or other editing tools
  • With at least 2 years of experience in Marketing, PR or event management
  • With wide network relationship with media & PR agencies
  • Having good understanding of ad-tech ecosystem with granular understanding of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and Supply-Side Platform (SSP), Demand-Side Platform (DSP), ad exchanges, networks business can be an advantage

  • 拥有广泛人脉,与媒体及公关公司具有良好关系
  • 充分了解广告技术生态系统者优先考虑,如实时竞价(RTB)和供应方平台(SSP)、需求方平台(DSP)、广告交易平台、网盟业务
