Job Description

We are looking for an independent individual to work in our Demand - CHINA team. A Demand Business Development Manager plays an active role in canvassing and sourcing for new media partnerships with demand partners (Ad-networks and DSPs). Good Demand Business Development Managers are influencers in marketing activities with new Clients as well as an existing portfolio of established Clients. A highly motivated self-starter, who can drive revenue while gathering the intelligence needed to shape company strategy and goal would be perfect for the role.

The Demand Business Development Manager will report to Demand Business Development Director. This position is primarily based in China with travels to manage Partnership relationships within China. THE ROLE

Business Development

  • Align business opportunities to establish strong and long-term partnerships
  • Clients Management in maximizing demand partners’ available inventory and their daily delivery needs
  • Facilitate Client on contractual and initial integration support and monitor Client’s satisfaction levels
  • Keeping abreast of all business and mobile technology advances in the marketplace
  • Represent Smaato at trade-shows and other industry events
  • Evangelise Smaato unique propositions
  • Engage new Demand partners

Account Development

  • Manage the account market share and grow revenue with new demand partners for first 90 days
  • Serve as main contact with partners’ sell-side team and our supply team and Sales Engineering team to resolve any technical questions and issues as they arise during all phases of programmatic deal set up and delivery
  • Gather client and internal feedback in to actionable product requirements and communicating those requirements to the Sales Engineering teams
  • Identify opportunities for upsell and cross sell Smaato’s inventories
  • Grow account revenue to meet and exceed goals; continuously prospect new business

Mobile Marketing

  • Develop an understanding of client’s business, products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors and sales
  • Utilize Smaato’s existing business and network analysis tools and data to identify emerging business trends and to test business hypotheses
  • Work with Sales, Marketing and Support teams to develop marketing strategies and to collect market feedback and data
  • Propose customized proposals/promotions for Clients
  • Sieve-out & provide feedback on commercial terms for new prospect Demand partners

  • 增加客户收益,完成销售指标;不断开发新业务

移动广告市场营销

  • 充分了解合作伙伴的业务、产品、服务内容、客户概况、营销和业务目标、竞争对手和销售情况
  • 使用Smaato现有的业务及网络分析工具和数据来发现新兴业务趋势,并测试经营假设
  • 协助销售和市场团队制定营销策略,收集市场反馈和数据
  • 为客户量身定制广告推广方案
  • 为新的潜在需求方合作伙伴选择商业条款并提供反馈

Qualifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor in Marketing or Business
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • With at least 2 years of online advertising experience in digital media (interactive/digital/web/mobile advertising/media/telco industry)
  • With experience supporting and servicing clients using advertising products and technology
  • A demonstrable record exceeding revenue goals and driving new businesses
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English, ability to communicate and write in Chinese and English would be required to liase with the APAC team. Any other third languages known can be an advantage
  • Having good understanding of ad-tech ecosystem with granular understanding of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and Supply-Side Platform (SSP), Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), ad exchanges, networks business can be an advantage
