We are seeking a highly organized and driven Web Content Coordinator, passionate about delivering best-in-class content and digital experiences. In this role, you will help develop and manage content verticals to complement Silk & Snow’s e-commerce business.

As Web Content Coordinator, you will work as part of Silk & Snow’s in-house marketing team to support project management and omnichannel content output for affiliate content sites and other projects. You will closely collaborate with internal departments and other Sleep Country Canada brands to ensure consistency, quality, integrity, and customer centricity across content streams.

As Web Content Coordinator, you will:

• Write and edit creative copy for a variety of different interactive media including content websites, e-commerce websites, social media, and other promotional channels
• Work with Developer and UX Developer to upload content on time and ensure all published content meets editorial standards and accessibility requirements
• Perform quality assurance checks of web pages pre- and post-launch, escalating errors to appropriate team members
• Work with the Performance Marketing Specialist to provide evaluation and analysis of web statistics using analytics and reporting tools
• Develop, document, implement, and monitor adherence to content website development and information management standards, including but not limited to style guides, metadata standards, and media library
• Assist with the development and maintenance of content libraries including design assets, fonts, text, photography, graphics, video, and audio
• Work with the Content Marketing team to plan and produce necessary multimedia content for digital channels including website and owned social media
• Provide support to marketing and product teams on go-to-market projects

What we are looking for:

• Hold a post-secondary degree in Communications, Journalism, Web Design, Information Management, or a related field
• 2 years’ experience writing and editing content for the web and creating web pages using WordPress or similar website management tools, including HTML/HTML5
• 2 years’ experience in content creation, management and organization, including writing articles, managing blogs/websites, search engine optimization (SEO), and establishing editorial web standards
• 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance testing web content and web-based applications for cross-browser compatibility and user experience
• Display an understanding of content marketing and affiliate marketing
• An exceptional communicator with sharp interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the company
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven organization, administrative, and time management skills
• Bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English is an asset
