Job Description
Job Title: Internal IT Engineer
Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office
Starting Salary: $49,352.06 - $54,287.27 (salary commensurate with experience)

As an Internal IT Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Skyward’s internal network, servers, and communication systems. You’ll manage IT service calls and projects, propose and implement new technologies, and support employees across departments. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to lead initiatives and make a real impact.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and resolve IT service calls and internal projects.
- Propose and implement new hardware, software, and IT policies.
- Coordinate hardware/software installations and upgrades.
- Provide after-hours and/or extended hours support for internal systems as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management.
- Maintain and update IT documentation and internal communications.
What you’ll need:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to travel on occasion.
- A two- or four-year degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications.
- Familiarity with IT systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
