Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office
Starting Salary: $49,352.06 - $54,287.27 (Salary commensurate with experience)

We're seeking a talented professional with experience in multi-state payroll setup and processing to work closely with our Senior Payroll Analyst. What You’ll Do:
Prepare and accurately process company payroll.
Authorize and ensure compliance of all payroll transactions with company policies.
Analyze multi-state payroll tax data and report to Federal, state, and local agencies as required.
Handle month-end and year-end activities including reconciliations, journal entries, and audits.
Research and understand complex payroll records and reports.
Assist with annual account reconciliations and balance payroll results to tax returns and Form W-2 statements.
Assist with the preparation of audits.
Process routine time off accruals.
Regular payroll maintenance; including but not limited to W4/withholding adjustments, insurance calculations, etc.
Recommend and help develop reports, procedures, processes, and controls.
Communicate payroll matters with HR, Finance teams, employees, and managers, maintaining high customer service.
Keep payroll information confidential to maintain employee confidence and protect operations.
What It Takes:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education and/or work experience.
3 years’ experience in multi-state Payroll for at least 200+ employees highly preferred.
Knowledge of and accuracy in applying payroll rules and tax regulations.
Experience with Payroll software setup and configuration.
Financial skills to record and analyze financial transactions and balances.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Maturity and discretion in handling highly confidential information.
Ability to meet established deadlines and productivity percentages.
