Job Title: Legacy Data Migration Specialist 

Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office  

*May include remote opportunities in the following states: AZ, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI. No relocation assistance is provided.  

Starting Salary: $45,045.26-$49,549.79 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Position Description:

We are seeking an organized individual to join Skyward’s Software Engineering department as a Legacy Data Migration Specialist. This role is central to the department’s oversight of customers migrating from one Skyward system to another. The Legacy Data Migration Specialist will work closely with the department’s leadership, the Qmlativ Migrations department, the Technology Solutions Team, and our business partners.  

  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitors migrations to ensure customers data is available by established due dates 

  • Monitors data migration runs to ensure errors are addressed before data is released 

  • Communicates timelines and the status of needed items with other Skyward Departments 

  • Records and maintains a variety of documents and activity tracking 

  • Serves as a point of contact for stakeholders in the migration process 

  • Cultivates a dynamic work environment that promotes cross-department collaboration 

  • Immediate supervisor may assign other short-term duties and responsibilities

  • Strong organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Independent ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and perform multiple tasks.   

  • Excellent follow-through and the willingness to do what is necessary to achieve customer satisfaction.  

  • Accuracy in work habits and data entry. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and general PC applications.  

  • two- or four-year degree or applicable experience.
