The Project Manager/Electrical Engineer will manage several electrically intensive toy products. This role will drive team accountability for deliverables and feedback. They will manage drone, robot & remote control electrical & firmware engineering tasks with our offices in Hong Kong, mainland China and Engineering Partners. An ideal candidate will be a self starter, enjoy working in a casual yet hard working fast paced environment and be motivated by the opportunity for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize & execute engineering portion of toy products
• Bridge the gap between US, China engineering teams
• Source & Evaluate parts/components to achieve a feature & cost Identify & focus on critical risks
• Develop and maintain electrical specifications Evaluate & Identify new sensors, chips, components
• Work directly with CM through issues
• Build proof of concept & production intent designs with mostly external resources
• Communicate on a daily basis with Vendors in the US and with Asia offices
• Track status and deliverables over skype and by phone Design for cost & manufacturability alongside HK team
• Partner with team to ensure all projects are delivered on-cost, on-spec, on-time
• Project Manage hardware, firmware, and software teams

• 5-7 years in EE Role experience
• Strong Trouble Shooter
• Experience with electrical design schematics and layout
• Experience with Radio Frequency Engineering & Antenna Design
• Experience with Video Encoding, Wifi
• Experience with Sourcing & Evaluating Technical Trade-off
• Experience with cost-prohibitive yet smart engineering designs
• Consumer Goods experience preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with people in multiple locations and time zones by email, phone and in person.

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
