Job Description

Skyborne Opportunity

We are looking for skilled and talented Cadet Liaison who is responsible for ensuring our customers have a first-class experience during their time with Skyborne. This integral, position is the primary contact point for all Skyborne customers on site at our Vero Beach training facility.

Ensuring Cadet welfare issues are to be managed effectively, gaining support from the wider team as required. Maintaining high standards through the training facility and coordinating with third party suppliers. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working with people and are motivated by delivering excellence, then we could be a good fit for you, and you for us. 

  • Act as an advisor and mentor to cadets studying in the US from our international locations on non-technical issues related to health and welfare, accommodation, transportation and anything else the students require support with.
  • Communicate with the Regional Director, Asia Pacific in Delhi and other non-training related matters.
  • Coordinate arrival and departure of our cadets with the Skyborne Airline Academy Admissions team.
  • Keep concise records of interface with cadets and provide regular reports on activities and issues.
  • Regularly meet with the cadets to provide support and escalate any issues to the leadership teams. 
  • Assist Skyborne Immigration in the resolution of cadet visa and leave of absence issues where possible.

Qualifications

Professional requirements are as follows:

  • High School Diploma or GED Degree
  • An Associate Degree in Aviation Management or experience in a flight training provider is advantageous but not essential.
  • A background in education or hospitality where you have been dealing with different backgrounds and cultures would be useful. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and support cultural diversity is key.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Fluency in English through both verbal and written communication; able to speak, understand, read, and write. 
  • General knowledge of the following software:  Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have legal right to work in the US.

  • Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Salary range $35k-$40k per year (DOE)
