Skyborne aims to achieve this by radically redefining every aspect of airline pilot training, from our unique educational approach, to our world-class facilities. We are fully committed to developing a dynamic, engaging and welcoming environment for the next generation of airline pilots to hone their skills.

Skyborne Opportunity

Based at Skyborne HQ in Gloucestershire, UK, but with oversight of our training facility in Vero Beach, USA. You will be working alongside and leading other experienced Flight Instructors to deliver the Single Engine training in the USA and Multi-Engine CPL and IR in the UK.

Trainees commence their training in the UK and undertake 2 modules of ground school training, completing 9 exams. They then travel to Vero Beach, USA, to undertake the UK CAA approved Single Engine training on our fleet of PA28s.

Following this, they return to the UK to complete the final phase of ground school training, before starting the Multi-Engine CPL and IR training on our DA42s. Trainees will alternate between the DA42 simulator and aircraft, supporting our Progressive Continuous Learning method which focuses on ensuring Trainees are always developing their talents and absorbing new skills from our vastly experienced instructors.

Skyborne’s UK  base opened in 2019 and has excellent facilities that have been developed to the highest standard, offering the right balance between training and self-motivated learning. We have invested in the most advanced training devices and equipment, including the DA42 fleet and T67 Firefly in the UK.

Skyborne's Vero Beach base opened in March 2021 and has an extensive fleet of 52 aircraft and 2 Red Bird Simulators. Vero Beach is the optimum place for your flight training journey with a 30 acre bespoke campus and 320 days per year of suitable weather. Our location offers a wide range of operational scenarios to test your piloting skills.
