The Sales Executive is responsible for developing US sales strategies and achieving revenue targets across various service and product channels in accordance with Skyborne Airline Academy Inc’s budget. Management of inbound sales enquiries; written, telephone, face-to-face and those generated through social media platforms, plus web-chat. Informative, professional communication skills, delivering against agreed KPI targets. Nurturing trusted relationships with potential trainees and their sponsors accordingly.

Active management of the pipeline and enrolment process, including contractual requirements. Working closely with Recruitment and Marketing senior management personnel to ensure a dynamic sales strategy and efficient selection and course enrolment process.

Responsibilities

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

  1. Achieve sales in line with SAA Inc revenue targets.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Recognise, develop and drive new and existing channels to market to achieve sales objectives.
  2. Proactively contact and engage with prospective retail customers, across all communication channels, to introduce Skyborne Airline Academy’s products and their benefits.
  3. Provide potential customers with specific information on services and products. Develop trusted relationships with potential customers, nurturing them through their decision-making process.
  4. Complete and maintain competitor analysis, providing market feedback to assist with the development of individual products and programs.
  5. Ensure sales related key performance objectives are implemented and achieved through monthly KPI reporting.
  6. Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly activities to line manager and wider commercial team.
  7. Coordinate with Skyborne Airline Academy personnel to foster a spirit of cooperation, which enhances Skyborne Airline Academy’s image as the flight training organization of choice.
  8. Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
  9. Maintain Skyborne Airline Academy’s commitment to customer satisfaction while performing job duties.

DOCUMENTATION/REPORTS ACTIVITIES:

  1. Report Sales department activities on a monthly basis using KPI’s, CRM and sales dashboards.
  2. Coordinate with the Marketing team on promotional materials and programs.
  3. Maintain customer data within the company CRM system.
  4. Complete Training Agreements (sales contracts).

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prioritize workflow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  2. Participate in sales/attraction events as required.

Participate, lead and develop Marketing projects, as requested.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: (Minimum Requirements)

  1. Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred, or five (5) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years’ experience substitution must be in related field.
  2. Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in sales and the ability to demonstrate high level achievement in this capacity
  3. Knowledge and experience in flight training. Knowledge of terminology, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and prerequisites for Skyborne Airline Academy courses, as specified by FAA regulations.
  4. Experience in developing sales strategies to meet budget revenue targets.

SOFTWARE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  1. General knowledge of MS Office
  2. Other software programs may be required, as needed. 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Excellent organizational skills
  3. Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner
  4. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations

Additional Information

Full Time, Monday - Friday

$35,000 - $45,000 basic salary DoE + up to $35,000 commission
