This new vacancy has been created following the recent announcement that UK-based Skyborne Aviation Group has acquired its first pilot training base in the United States in Vero Beach, Florida.

THE ROLE

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies and achieving revenue targets across various service and product channels in accordance with Skyborne’s budget and 5 year plan; including but not limited to enrolments across the full range of programs offered. Management of inbound sales enquiries; written, telephone, face-to-face and those generated through social media platforms. Informative, professional communication skills, delivering against agreed KPI targets. Nurturing trusted relationships with potential trainees and their sponsors accordingly.

Management of the pipeline and enrolment process, including contractual requirements. Working closely with Recruitment and Marketing senior management personnel to ensure a dynamic sales strategy and efficient selection and course enrolment process.

Job Description

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

Increase revenue via increased sales of product and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recognising and developing key channels to market to achieve sales objectives.
  • Ensuring that sales related key performance objectives are implemented and achieved through monthly KPI reporting.
  • Communicate with Center Director and/or Head of Customer Support regarding customer scheduling to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Contact prospective customers to introduce Skyborne Airline Academy’s products and their potential benefits to the Customer.
  • Provide Customers within specific information on services and product enhancements.
  • Contact customers to maintain awareness of their needs, desires and level of satisfaction.
  • Complete and maintain competitor analysis.
  • Providing market feedback to assist with the development of individual products and programmes.
  • Report Sales activities on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate and participate with the Marketing team on promotional materials, programs and events.
  • Maintain data within the company CRM system.
  • Complete training agreements (sales contracts).

 

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, or five (5) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in sales
    • Knowledge and experience in flight training. Knowledge of terminology, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and prerequisites for Skyborne Airline Academy courses, as specified by FAA regulations.
    • Experience in developing sales strategies to meet budget revenue targets
    • General knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner
    • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations

    Salary: Up to $70,000.00 per year
