Job Description

OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

Developing engaging marketing strategies and deploying multi-media marketing for Skyborne’s global revenue streams to drive sales and customer engagement; and represent the Skyborne brand across all media types. 


Responsible for short, medium and long-term marketing strategies to drive sales in accordance with Skyborne’s Business Plan. Must optimise to best effect, Social media and website content, and drive Skyborne’s PR and Brand Design requirements with current and future agencies.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing marketing strategies to drive agreed sales and revenue targets in line with Skyborne’s Business Plan.
  • To lead on implementation, reporting and reviewing of the strategic sales & marketing plans to drive sales and revenue.
  • To lead on developing marcomms’ activities for all channels including digital to meet organisational aims with cohesiveness and creativity
  • Oversight and management of Skyborne’s website to ensure all performance metrics are optimised. This includes SEO, PPC, metadata, sponsored links. Content management to represent the brand and meet all SEO protocols.
  • Social media management, including content and innovation. Managing Social Media calendars to coordinate with internal and external industry events and milestones.
  • To stay abreast of progress and direction in the aviation training, airline and education sectors to ensure Skyborne capitalise and lead on development.
  • To be a member of the Skyborne Senior Management Team, owning agreed areas of the Strategic Action Plan and managing identified projects
  • To regularly review suppliers of digital and marcomms services, ensuring quality and value for money.
  • Manage key relations with external media outlets, journalists and broadcast organisations in the UK, USA and rest of world as required.
  • To manage and deliver the relevant budgets and KPI’s as set by the Directors.
  • To help arrange and attend appropriate meetings and events as directed.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts, across all levels.
  • Significant experience in all forms of Marketing; especially Digital Marketing with up to date, demonstrable technical capability.
  • Proven track record for driving sales and revenue figures.
  • Ability to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Senior Management experience.
  • Readily accepts changes and adjusts accordingly.
  • Naturally innovative and creative outlook. Team player.

Additional Information

WORKING HOURS

Full time, Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 17.00
