Job Description
ProSidian Seeks a Graphic Designer (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Washington, DC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector.
The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to understand and improve consumer financial decision-making skills by researching consumer financial behavior, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and experiences, developing innovative approaches to help consumers make better-informed financial decisions, and analyze and study the effectiveness of financial education approaches.
Graphic Designer Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0010 Program Support and plan, produce, and provide creative direction for newly developed financial education tools, messages, and interventions, providing turnkey versions of all new materials, and providing graphic design support for online resources.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for crafting on-brand, cohesive, and effective creative assets, providing promotions and advertising of materials on designated websites and online outlets, merchandising, playing a key role in the design and production processes at all levels of the Research Project, and providing marketing initiatives, when required.
Qualifications
The Graphic Designer shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience with demonstrated understanding of creative and graphic design and/or commercial art.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Master's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience providing design to an agency or client.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other related medium.
- Experience with content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress, or similar), email marketing, web design, sketch, and editing skills preferred.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team.
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems.
- Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management.
- Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Mac platforms, and basic knowledge of web-based software.

TRAVEL: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at the Charlotte, NC / Washington, DC / Remote
