Major Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Design, configuration and testing of core CO modules (CCA, PCA, PC, PA)
  • Design, configuration and testing of CO-PA
  • Experience with report writer and report painter
  • Experience with product costing
  • Experience and knowledge of key integration points with CO modules
  • Experience in the planning areas that impact CO including PA P&L, uploads and versions analysis
  • Acts as liaison with users for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy business and deployment needs.
  • Works with other SAP analysts and teams on integrations points
  • Help Desk to Users
  • Assists in identifying, testing and implementing enhancements to meet business demands
  • Leads upgrade efforts for the CO modules

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management of Information systems and at least 5 years of information technology experience is required.
  • SAP CO certification desired.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with configuring and supporting the CO module
  • At least 3 years of experience with post implementation support and support of month-end closing activities and budgeting process.
  • Experience gathering/analyzing requirements and translating them into detailed SAP functional specifications for SAP ECC and BOBJ. Collaborating with ABAP developers for customized development.
  • Experience with completing at least one full SAP implementation in the CO module including configuration for costing variants, value flow in COPA, settlement structures and allocation structures.
