Skill-Lync is building an alternative platform for engineering education. The last 2 decades have seen an increasing disconnect between industry and academia - this has resulted in colleges not teaching industry-relevant technical skills and thereby students becoming unemployable

Creating an altogether new engineering curriculum, taking it to the masses, and delivering it to the students in a way that they fall in love with engineering is what our goal is. If you can think about providing an education better than MIT or Stanford at a fraction of the price; delivering the same high-quality education to everyone who takes it; and making sure they succeed in achieving their goals as a result of our education. Job Description

  • Develop a brand strategy for Skill-Lync by shaping and communicating our vision and mission in India and other major markets
  • Execute ATL/BTL/Digital campaigns to improve reach and awareness
  • Be a brand custodian and analyze brand positioning and consumer insights and ensure brand guidelines and standards are met across all assets
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Execute campaigns that go beyond conventional TV/Media (media partnerships, alliances, PR, CSR, sponsorships)
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Use Data and Metrics to run brand marketing campaigns efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions and devise innovative growth strategies
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Brand Management
  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
