The purpose of this role is to maintain and improve the network infrastructure in the retail store and corporate building environments.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

• Field escalated breakfix tickets for the retail environment
• Maintain/manage the code and configs in the retail environment
• Assist in the provisioning of new stores as well as the decommissioning of existing stores
• Perform hardware/software configuration and release management
• Design, install, maintain, configure, secure and support hardware platforms, operating systems, wired/wireless network components, and related products and technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software on the following deployed components: RF devices, ticketing systems, label platforms, time keeping, backup environments and voice systems.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Remote monitoring and level 1 troubleshooting
• Propose and review hardware and solutions for the retail environment
• Manage tier1 ticket queue and work closely with Service Desk and remote Retail store support resources
• Manage and coordinate 3rd party support calls and dispatch remotely
• Review and propose more scalable and efficient workflows for retail
• Propose more efficient processes for incident handling and provisioning
• Participate in retail, on-call, rotation

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

• Networking fundamentals with Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet or comparable hardware
• Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and access points
• Remote tool support and admin level management of devices as well software
• Mobile device management
• Remote software installations and scripts
• VPN, VLANs, subnetting, spreadsheets,
• FortiNet experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an IT Networking role
• Strongly efficient in Service Now, Microsoft Excel, Outlook

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000/year.
