Job Description

Pay is $21.50 an Hour Start Time 5am

This is an onsite position

Experience in distribution required

Inventory Control experience required

Experience reviewing and analyzing inventory transactions required

Excellent analytical and math skills required

Experience working in a fast-paced environment, performing computer tasks, and responding to a high volume of contacts required

Good business communication skills required

Leadership skills, ability to delegate work, and ability to train others required

Integrity and good work habits required

  • Review filter report issues and resolve all issues in appropriate time frame.
  • Monitor urgent on-line orders and un-waved orders and resolve as soon as possible.
  • Communicate issues as necessary to appropriate contacts in other departments, corporate office, and management.
  • Explain any perpetual inventory issues encountered to management.
  • Ensure that any processing shortages are immediately researched and follow up with appropriate contacts.
  • Ensure that all items from the analyst checklist (exception reports, tools, etc.) are worked correctly and with required frequency.
  • Ensure that cycle count cycles are being worked in most efficient manner and with required frequency.
  • Delegate daily workload to staff.
  • Learn all WMS RF options and train and develop staff’s skills in transacting product on the floor.
  • Ensure that internal audits are being performed correctly, without bias, and with required frequency.
  • Research reported discrepancies, capture data, report on operational errors for process improvement.
  • Quickly and accurately enter all data into department databases.
  • Review department reports and stored data for accuracy.
  • Distribute department reports to appropriate distribution.
  • Learn all advanced WMS options, inquiries, and tools required to adequately analyze inventory issues.
  • Learn functions of other departments involved in inventory movement and how to audit, identify, and fix errors.
  • Ensure staff is correctly completing all required paperwork and reporting.
  • Ensure staff is correctly reporting and fixing errors found on the work-floor.
  • Report any staff conduct or performance issues to Supervisor.
  • Report observations of employees violating safety or other procedures.
  • Audit locations counted by staff for accuracy and correctly report findings.
  • Perform cycle counts on all types of locations as necessary.
  • Perform other Inventory Control duties as necessary.
  • Perform other general duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • PKMS or similar WMS software.
  • Strong in MS Office programs, especially Excel, MS Access beneficial.
  • Good data entry speed.
  • Speed and confidence learning/navigating apps on a computer.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
