Job Description

Skechers Digital seeks a marketing data and analytics specialist to help govern our global direct-to-consumer data footprint. Become the marketing data steward ensuring data is properly flowing between Skechers and our digital partners. Work with marketing, legal, and information security to help ensure our data ecosystem is compliant, secure, and operating efficiently.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS -

  • Full lifecycle management of tracking tags on web and native app experience

    • Development & Quality Assurance
    • Operations & Maintenance
  • Maintain inventory of all cookies, pixels, and other digital consumer trackers.
  • Ensure consent management is setup for all digital trackers and aligns with Skechers published policies. 
  • Maintain relationships with our ad tech partners and ensure our tags are properly configured. 
  • Fully understand Skecher's direct-to-consumer data footprint and act as the main point of contact for any questions or concerns.
  • Educate legal and infosec on data details to help protect Skechers and our consumers.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot campaign performance issues.
  • Provide Tag Management strategy and expertise. 
  • Act as primary consultant to paid media, social, and content teams in setting up their campaign tracking. 
  • Implement effective engagement tracking solutions using Google Analytics. 
  • Identify gaps, find technical issues in tag configuration, and recommend solutions.
  • Administration of Google Tag Manager user.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS -

  • Highly computer literate; ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently
  • Digital savvy with focus on consumer outcomes 
  • Demonstrated ability to complete work independently with careful attention to detail and follow-up; extremely accurate; demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal, written and interpersonal
  • An interest in learning and utilizing new/emerging marketing technology

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -

  • Experience tracking web and native app (iOS/Andoid) experience.
  • Experience setting up third party trackers (Google Ad, Facebook Ads, ...) with Google Tag Manager (client and server-side)
  • Experience with consent management (GDPR, CCPA, ...).
  • Experience working with Google Analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication working across teams
  • Fundamental understanding of programmatic advertising
  • Experience with standard web languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge with Google Tag Manager or other industry-leading tagging solutions
  • Understanding search platforms as leveraged by Catalog, eCommerce, and Content focusing on search relevance

The employee is occasionally required to sit for long period of times.

The salary range for this position is $64,480 - $120,000/year.
