Job Description

Skechers Digital is hiring a project manager to drive various projects serving Skechers Digital direct-to-consumer business, including e-commerce and digital product development. The successful candidate will work to establish processes consistent with digital best practices and Agile development, create and track project plans, manage team tasks, communicate plans and status to team members and stakeholders, handle incoming requests, issues, and other day-to-day interactions as needed to keep projects moving.

This role will report to the Director of Digital Program Management and become part of a core Digital program team managing and delivering projects to accelerate business growth for Skechers USA.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Manages projects via effective prioritization, resource allocation, and cross functional collaboration.
  • Manages daily requests and issues via email, Smartsheet, Jira and Confluence project spaces
  • Drives effective delivery of digital projects on the global eCommerce platform, including innovation technologies and feature enhancements.
  • Handles incoming requests/issues/questions, track down decision makers, address directly if applicable, and/or drive to clear decisions that unblock work.
  • Coordinate, schedule and lead necessary project meetings with clear agendas, concrete objectives and next actions
  • Facilitate information flow between cross-functional teams and 3rd party consultants and agencies, producing written status updates and presentations that explain accomplishments, goals, milestones, risks and issues
  • Partner with production support to ensure issue timely issue resolution.
  • Serve as point of contact for technology vendors in the areas of SEO, analytics, content, payments, catalog, email, loyalty, messaging or other functions.
  • Assist digital product teams in clarifying and prioritizing feature requests, and in communicating with developers

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support eCommerce platform team with digital domain expertise and solid project management fundamentals
  • Connect teams and stakeholders across IT, Digital, Creative, Content, Retail and Marketing groups.

  • Ability to get things done and drive projects to completion
  • Digital savvy with focus on consumer outcomes
  • Bias for action and efficiency
  • Ability to simplify and explain complex topics to business stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of business process improvement, reporting, problem solving, troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective stakeholder communication at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong Keynote or Powerpoint presentation skills
  • Basic project management skills and understanding of Agile method
  • Working knowledge of and/or experience with eCommerce components (payments, third-party integrations, content management, product data feeds, APIs, technical documentation (FSD/ISD/TSD), SEO, QA processes, UAT and Agile release management).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Foundational experience using agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms, especially Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar
  • 5+ years managing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years experience working on eCommerce projects, ideally with footwear/apparel
  • 2+ years experience working with executive stakeholders
