Job Description

The Customer Service  Representative, will successfully manage our major account retailers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Build strong relationships and adapt to account specific needs while maintaining Skechers’ interests.
  • Utilize reports to manage and track orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of open orders.
  • Be responsible for taking or placing orders, and reviewing and releasing EDI and/or bulk orders.
  • Respond courteously to all customer service transactions including incoming calls from key accounts, sales reps and internal/external customers.
  • Work closely with the various departments i.e. Sales, Credit, Allocations and production to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Review customers purchase orders to ensure the terms and conditions of sale are in agreement with Skechers by confirming availability, pricing and terms, etc. Amend orders as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a wholesale customer service or retail environment
  • Ability to solve problems and make sound business decisions
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a varied workload
  • Strong customer service and team orientation
  • Strong knowledge of the consumer goods industry is preferred
  • Key Account Customer Service experience is necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a wholesale customer service or retail environment
  • In-depth proficiency with MS Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
