Job Description

The Product Development Coordinator will focus on tech pack set up and maintenance, working closely with the Product Developer to create BOMs and maintain information accuracy. This position will be responsible for entering raw materials into the FlexPLM library database and continually monitoring and updating tech packs for revisions throughout the entire product life cycle. This role reports into the Product Development team and will assist in other areas of the PD business during heavy workload periods – via data entry, sample/submit tracking, filing & organization, or in special projects that arise.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Tech Pack BOM Creation & Maintenance (Data Entry)
  • FlexPLM Tech Pack Updates
  • Raw Material Set Up & Maintenance in FlexPLM Libraries
  • Track and receive samples & submits, assisting team with sending comments and updating systems/tools. 
  • Assist PD team as needed with data entry and organizational tasks.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistant will be trained on FlexPLM and Compass systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have general apparel knowledge of garments and construction
  •  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong skillset in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Detail oriented and must check their work before handing off
  • Basic math skills required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2+ years in Apparel Product Development or Design
  • AA or Bachelor’s Degree
