Job Description

This individual will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will act as sales support to the various sales teams within the SKECHERS Lifestyle and Performance divisions. They will be responsible for managing marketing partnerships with key retail partners and implementing plans that aggressively support and advance our sales objectives. The individual will work closely with marketing, sales, visual merchandising (POP),  e-commerce, sales management, and product marketing teams to ensure excellent marketing development and sales support for key partners while elevating brand awareness.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary contact for day-to-day communications with external PR agency and coordinating product delivery for media opportunities
  • Maintain all corporate social media platforms under the direction of the Marketing Manager, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; responsibilities will include scheduling posts, community engagement and answering consumer inquiries
  • Assist in preparation of marketing and e-commerce weekly and monthly reports as well as presentations
  • Communicate regularly with corporate graphics team for marketing collateral requests
  • Order and track all POP marketing materials for sales team, retail partners, and trade shows
  • Provide French translations for marketing collateral as needed
  • Order and track delivery of promotional seeding pairs
  • Coordinate trade show material and assist with booth set-up as needed
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager on any other special projects as needed

EDUCATION 

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Post-secondary education
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred
