Job Description

We require a ServiceNow ITOM Developer resource who can play a key role in the architecting and delivery of ITOM Visibility services across our Skechers IT. As our ServiceNow ITOM Developer at Skechers, you'll serve as a critical technical resource that will ensure the success of our ITOM ServiceNow implementation. You will maintain collaboration and partnerships with our Server, Network and Enterprise Applications teams for the installation and maintenance of the services they run.

The Role will be focused on the delivery of Key ServiceNow ITOM capabilities including but not limited to CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • 2+ years delivery experience of ITOM suite within ServiceNow
  • Experience with discovery and service discovery capabilities within ServiceNow
  • Comprehension of, and the ability to communicate and implement CMDB Model.
  • Ability to comprehend, modify and create server-side, object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell.
  • Ability to research and independently learn new technical information to perform configuration, operation, or network connectivity of applications, operating systems and network devices.
  • Experience in system administration of Linux and Windows servers.
  • Exposure to protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
  • IT Operations experience in storage, network, and compute of enterprise environments.
  • Service-oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc.).
  • Private Cloud vendors such as VMware and Microsoft and automation such Understand the big picture of the ServiceNow Discovery solution.
  • Install and configure multiple MID Servers.
  • Understand Credential less and Credential based Discovery.
  • Participate in all technical aspects of delivering complex Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow ITOM visibility with a focus on the discovery, service mapping, certification management and multisource CMDB
  • Ability to prevent duplicate Cis with CI identifiers.
  • Extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.
  • Knowledge and ability to configure, manage and maintain MID servers.
  • Proficient in configuring credentials for Service Mapping.
  • Proficient in working with command line console for Service Mapping.
  • Ability to work with and migrate patterns between Environments for Service Mapping.
  • Proficient in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.
  • Ability and knowledge in Discovery of multi-tier services including advance pattern configuration for Service Mapping.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2+years hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow Platform especially ITOM suite as admin or developer.
  • 3+ years overall experience in IT Service Management domain.
  • 1+ years’ experience in conducting ITOM workshops with Infrastructure and Application teams for Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • ServiceNow Admin (CSA) is a plus.
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a plus.
  • ITOM certification is a plus.
  • ITIL Foundations certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of systems especially SCCM, Workspace One and VMware is highly desirable.
