Job Description

Assistant Product Developers are to successfully manage the development process, end to end, and deliver product on-time. The Assistant Product Developer will assist with clerical tasks, tracking and receiving packages according to the WIP, checking product back to original specifications, and communicating internally/externally. Data entry and systems maintenance is a key area for this position. The Assistant Product Developer will help in other areas as needed. This position works on both Men’s & Women’s apparel, across multiple categories. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Data entry in Flex / Compass
  • WIP / Sample Tracking
  • Fit Log Updates & pulling reference samples
  • Filing samples / folders
  • Receive packages & distribute accordingly
  • Send comments & communicate with overseas teams

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assistant will be trained on system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have general apparel knowledge of garments and construction
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, Illustrator
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and must check their work before handing off
  • Basic math skills required
  • Team Player, Positive & Flexible Attitude.
  • Self-Starter, Proactive, Inquisitive, Creative Problem Solver

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2+ years in Apparel Product Development or Production team
  • AA or Bachelor’s Degree
