Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection of corporate office building(s), both inside and outside while demonstrating a high level of customer service.  This is done by using a variety of cleaning equipment, using a broad selection of cleaning solutions and floor-care products, and following specific instructions covering proper mixing.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Follow safety protocols including wearing proper PPE to include designated gloves, face masks, and goggles. 
  • Handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals 
  • Wash, Clean. Sanitize and Disinfect offices, hallway, break area(s), equipment, shelves and furnishings
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, including vacuum.  
  • Dust desks, furniture, light fixtures, shelves, windowsills, etc
  • Clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required. 
  • Empty trash cans; dispose trash and waste. 
  • Wet mop floors in areas to include office spaces and bathrooms.  
  • Facilitate ad hoc requests for special cleaning, mopping up of spills.

  • Must be alert and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible to work in all buildings/departments
  • Ability to take directives from manager/supervisor
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Communicate with upper management/co-workers on a daily basis
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must work safely and professionally at all times
  • Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, Department, etc 
  • Knowledge of all company policies and procedures (i.e., safety)
  • Able to contribute hands on 
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor, examples include:  leaky faucets, running toilets, loose tile, broken windowpanes
  • Complete scheduled deep cleaning initiatives
  • Rotate and supplement stock as necessary
  • Follow towel protocol:

           Red – Countertops, desk, furniture, light fixtures, shelves, windowsills, etc.

           Black – Floor

           Blue – Stainless Steel

           Yellow – Bathroom counters and fixtures

           Paper – Bathroom floors, toilets and urinals

           Blue Microfiber Pad – Bathroom Floors at 330 only

  • Other duties as assigned.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous similar experience a plus
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • ServSafe Certified
