Job Description

Obtain an extensive knowledge of the product lines to effectively communicate company key initiatives, quarterly assortments, and store selling to our partners. Review multiple business channels and extensive country assortments to determine additional opportunities based on the needs within each country. Work directly with the planning team to communicate product opportunities based on sales history, volume, and wholesale and retail assortments.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Become a product expert to be able to communicate product lines and build compelling assortments for various International regions.
  • Review country assortments to determine additional opportunities based on sales, company key initiatives, and regional specific needs.
  • Review U.S. retail store trends to communicate bestsellers to countries.
  • Review monthly and quarterly sales reports within respective divisions to determine what categories are driving the business and where there is opportunity to grow the business (division, outsole, style, sku level).
  • Effectively communicate thru email and conference calls to discuss business and future opportunities.
  • Meet with distributors to discuss current business, assess future needs, and maximize sales.
  • Collaborate and communicate daily with Merchandising, Planning, Product, and Customer Service teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and manage time effectively paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous merchandising experience with large SKU assortments
  • Understanding of market trends and sales analysis
  • Proficient with excel functions such as pivot tables, V lookups, and creating unique reports
  • Attend sales conferences and be comfortable presenting various lines in person or virtually
  • Collaborate with product teams to clarify product details and communicate to International partners
  • Leverage presentation documents such as PowerPoint to create effective visual reports

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • +2-3 Years Merchandising or equivalent experience
  • Passionate about growing businesses through collaboration with INTL partners
  • Self-motivated / Self starter
  • Knowledge of merchandising best practices
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast paced work environment
